Nowadays, the internet is the biggest influence to the Malaysia society and it also known as the powerful tools to everyone in the world. The journalists and other are using this opportunity to write anything they want to say. It’s not denied that the online journalism is taking part in the media for delivering news and other current information towards public.
We can’t deny it when we open the internet we see many article that are post by the journalists that are not satisfied with something. Some of the journalist likes to express their thoughts that are surely not relevant at all and sometimes untrue as well.
The internet is free and worldwide that everybody can use it. When the internet is free and everyone is using it, the major problem regarding this issue is the content of the certain issue is not controlled at all. Every person eligible to see, comments, posts and creates an issue towards the government, publics or the person whenever they felt unsatisfied. Imagine if we post something in the blog and it’s not possible that other person can copy and paste your posts to their blogs or their websites. It seems not big deal at all, but if you post related to the issue that unnecessary and can ruined the relationship between the races in Malaysia. It does will harm the harmonious between the races.
We can see many people post everything through the internet actually the government should controlled the content of it. The reason why we should do the controlling to the content and other website are it could tarnish our nation images, harm the harmoniously races in Malaysia and can create a chaos situations.
As we know, 13 May 1969 is the date where Malaysia has faced the chaos situation that involved many races. And as a Malaysian I really don’t want this happened again in Malaysia. It really need all the content of the certain issues is edits first by the editor that are a gatekeepers from the related agencies. Whenever the issues that are mostly and probably can give a major problem towards many people, they can remove that issues from be online in the internet. It might be easier so that people would not be misunderstanding to what the person write in the internet. This can ensure our peaceful and harmonies situation.
The government should control the internet as well as the content of the internet because it now becomes one of the powerful tools to make people influence from what they said and reads. We can see nowadays many article condemns the government, individuals, other races and religion are widely seen by others. It contains a millions of articles. Whenever a person write an article, they just only express their feeling but do not thinks of the consequences of their actions. Most of the people do not want have a war in our country because of the misunderstanding situation, it will cause many damaged towards the country and the individual as well. In my conclusions, the content of the internet should be control so; we can have a better life and place to live. The harmonious country comes from the harmonious races that are unite together to live peaceful and happily live together. It important to cure than heals.
